Council Lifeguard Beach Safety Talk
Emmanuelle really enjoyed the surf and the beaches, she is telling us about a special visitor and his special job.
At 2 o’clock in the afternoon the lifeguard came to our class to explain his job and what the flags they were used for.
We watched a DVD and a slide show about Lifeguards.
Even if there is no apparent danger, it is important that everyone swims in the safe zone between the flags to avoid sharks ! Some of them get through the safety barrier.
